I just stumbled upon Angelneka Smith's case, and it's really been on my mind. I was reading about how the argument that tragically ended her life started inside the Sandpiper Lounge before moving outside. It makes me wonder how many people inside the bar might have seen or heard something significant before things escalated. Bars usually have a lively atmosphere, and it can be hard to notice when things start to get out of hand. If anyone here was at the Sandpiper that night or knows someone who was, even the smallest details might help. It's so crucial for the community to come together to support each other and hopefully bring justice for Angelneka and her family. Her little girl deserves answers and some sense of peace. Let's keep her memory alive and continue to push for anyone with information to come forward. Every piece of evidence could make a difference.

Has anyone else followed the vigils and community gatherings that have been happening around Dolton after Angelneka Smith's tragic passing? It’s been incredibly moving to see how the community has come together to honor her memory. I’ve read that so many people have attended to show their support for her family, and it really speaks to how loved she was. So many candles and prayers have been part of these events. It’s such a difficult time, and to see everyone join to remember her and stand against the violence is quite powerful. If you’ve been to any of these gatherings, I’d love to hear more about how they were. Sending strength to Angelneka’s family and hoping for more unity as we all seek justice in this heartbreaking time.

I haven’t seen much discussion about this, but I can’t stop thinking about Angelneka Smith’s little daughter. It’s just devastating to consider how her life has been changed forever. Knowing her mother was taken from her in such a violent way…it's hard to wrap my mind around the pain she must be feeling and will continue to feel as she grows up. I hope there are loving family members and community resources stepping in to give her the support she needs. Does anyone know if there's been a fund set up to help her or any community efforts to ensure she has what she needs moving forward? Losing a parent is unimaginable at that age, especially to something so senseless. My heart goes out to her and the entire family during this incredibly difficult time.
