I’ve been following the case of Quashun Nolton and the other young men who tragically lost their lives in the West Garfield Park shooting and something stuck out to me about the stolen vehicle used in the shooting. It was reported stolen weeks before and found shortly after the incident. It's baffling how, despite advances in forensic technology and efforts from the police, these perpetrators still manage to slip through the cracks when it comes to being identified or apprehended.
My thoughts are with the families of Quashun, Charles, and Tion during what must be an unimaginably difficult time. It must add to their pain knowing the shooter is still out there. Does anyone know if there have been any developments with suspects or forensic leads recently? It seems like gathering DNA or fingerprints from the recovered car could provide a breakthrough. How common is it for stolen cars to be involved in shootings like this, and is there usually any success in tracing owners back through forensic efforts? Let’s all keep supporting each other and pushing for answers for these families.
Hey everyone,
I wanted to bring up a detail about the car used in the tragic shooting that took Quashun Nolton's life. It was reported stolen weeks before the incident. It's chilling to think about how many crimes hinge on stolen vehicles, and how something as common as car theft can escalate into such a horrifying event.
The fact that the white sedan was missing for so long raises questions about how easily it's possible for criminals to move around unnoticed in our city. How do we prevent these stolen cars from becoming tools of violence? And what more can be done for timely reporting and recovering these vehicles to possibly avert such tragedies?
As we discuss these heartbreaking events, let's remember that real families, like those of Quashun, Charles Boston, and Tion Lewis, are waiting for justice. It's a painful reminder of how deeply intertwined vehicle theft and gun violence can be. I really hope this case gets resolved soon, for the sake of those still grieving and the safety of our community.
Thanks for reading, and let's continue sharing any information that might lead to answers.
Stay safe everyone.
