I was reading up on Stoni Bridges' case again, and I can't help but focus on how senseless the violence was. It's truly troubling that Stoni, who seemed to be nothing but a positive presence in the lives of those around her, was taken away so suddenly. Her uncle's words really stuck with me—why would someone target someone like her? The randomness of such crimes is chilling, and it's frustrating that the perpetrators are still unknown. I genuinely hope that, despite the time that's passed, the detectives manage to find a break in the case. This shouldn't be happening to any family, and the community shouldn't have to keep losing people like Stoni to such acts of violence. It's just so unfair.
