I’ve been following the tragic case of Jayson Goodbred, and I can't stop thinking about how the Decatur Inn has been a recurring scene for violence. Does anyone else find it concerning that this establishment continues to have such incidents? It makes me wonder about the role the environment played in this tragedy. What was Jayson's connection to the Decatur Inn, if any? Was it a place he frequented, or was he just in the wrong place at the wrong time? With a juvenile being charged, it's another layer of sadness—two young lives forever changed. I'm just hoping for some real change in our community, especially around areas like the Decatur Inn, to prevent any further heartache. My thoughts are definitely with Jayson's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
