I wanted to share my thoughts after watching a recent interview with one of Issac Brown's childhood friends. You could truly feel the loss and the emotional toll that his murder has taken on those who knew him best. It’s gut-wrenching to hear someone speak so fondly of their lifelong friend, only to have had their life abruptly cut short by such a senseless act of violence. The friend mentioned how Issac was always the one to bring people together and had dreams of starting a mentoring program for young kids in the neighborhood. It’s such a stark reminder of the rippling effects that gun violence has—not just on the victim, but on everyone who was part of their life. I hope justice is served, and something positive can come from this tragedy. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time.
