Does anyone have insight on the geography of trail 38c in the Canyonlands area? I'm curious about how challenging it is to navigate, especially for someone like Michael Sheftell, who reportedly had medical needs. I've done a bit of hiking and know that some trails can be incredibly deceptive in terms of difficulty. Could the terrain itself have been a significant factor in his disappearance? I've heard of other cases where individuals thought they were taking an easy path only to find themselves in much more hostile territory. Was there anything specific about trail 38c that could have contributed to him going missing without leaving a trace?
