Hey everyone, I've been following Damian Duran's case closely and something that really sticks out to me is the lack of surveillance footage in the area where it happened. It's 2020, and you'd think there would be at least one camera in a place where people are known to pass by regularly. How is it possible that no footage has surfaced yet? I've read that the community is pretty tight-knit, and many small businesses around the neighborhood usually have cameras, so maybe that's something that could help move the investigation forward. It's just so frustrating to think that no one has been held accountable for this terrible act. My heart goes out to Damian’s family. I can’t begin to imagine the pain they’re going through, and I hope that anyone with information comes forward soon to help them get the justice they deserve.
I came across this case while browsing and felt compelled to share some thoughts. Damian’s murder is such a painful reminder of how fragile life can be. I can’t stop thinking about his family—how they had to hear that dreadful news on an afternoon that should’ve been just another normal day. I’ve been following Damian Duran’s case since it happened, and something that's been on my mind is the role that could have been played by surveillance footage. Gage Park is a busy area, and I would assume that there might be cameras from nearby homes or businesses. It's puzzling that no concrete footage has surfaced to help identify the suspect. Could it be that there wasn't any working camera that day, or is there a chance that someone has footage they haven't shared?
I can't imagine the pain Damian's family is going through. It must be incredibly frustrating for them that, despite the passage of time, no significant leads seem to have emerged. I hope those who live around South Homan Avenue check any possible footage from that day or reflect on anything suspicious they might have noticed.
Fingers crossed that with the community’s help and continued investigation, there might be a turning point soon. Damian and his family deserve justice and peace.
