I've been thinking about how Victor Couther's case is yet another reminder of the challenges faced by those living in Baltimore around that time. It's truly concerning how, even with efforts to improve safety, so many cases, including Victor's, remained unsolved. The lack of witness statements and forensic evidence seems to be a common struggle. I can't imagine the frustration and despair his family must feel not having any answers after all these years. It's critical that we continue to support initiatives that focus on community engagement and trust in law enforcement, so that families like Victor's don't have to be left in the dark. I hope one day his case will see justice served.
