It's deeply saddening to hear about the loss of Gary and Judy Lissy. I wanted to share a bit about Gary’s involvement in the local community because it really highlights how much he meant to so many people. He was quite the active member in several clubs, including the Will County Threshermen's Association and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300. It seems like he had a real passion for John Deere tractors, and from what I’ve heard, he loved going to local auctions. I've seen him a few times at these events, and he always had a friendly smile and a kind word for everyone. The news of his and Judy's passing felt like a heavy blow to all who knew them. It’s hard to believe that someone who was such a positive presence in the community is gone. My heart goes out to their family, especially during such a confusing and painful time. I hope the ongoing investigation helps bring some clarity to their tragic loss.

I can’t believe what happened to the Lissys. Gary was such a familiar face at all the local tractor shows. It’s hard to imagine he’s gone. I remember seeing him last year at the county fair, so proud and excited whenever talking about his John Deere collection. This news has really hit the community hard, especially those of us who shared his passion for farming equipment and those fun auction days. They seemed like such a close-knit couple. I can’t wrap my head around it, and I’m sure others who knew him feel the same. My thoughts are with their family, and I hope we get some explanations soon.
