Does anyone else find it chilling how close Steven Hayer and Angelo Pullum seemed to be in the lead-up to the shooting? The fact that they exchanged 12 calls that morning and walked together before that horrific moment just weighs heavily on my mind. I can't even begin to understand what kind of conversation leads to such a betrayal. It's deeply unsettling to think about the trust Angelo must have had in order to take that walk with Hayer. I've read that Angelo was known for his generosity and kindness, and it’s just tragic that his trusting nature may have made him vulnerable that day. I hope his mother finds some peace, even though the pain of losing a child in such a way must be indescribably hard. Her strength in sharing who Angelo was—her love, and memories—amid all of this is truly remarkable.

I can't stop thinking about the cell phone data that placed Hayer at the scene when Angelo was murdered. I mean, it's one thing to have witnesses and surveillance footage, but having the technological evidence really ties things together tightly. It makes you wonder why Hayer would be so careless if he truly had malicious intent, or was it a case of a plan gone unexpectedly wrong? It’s chilling to think how technology plays such a huge role in solving crimes now, giving Angelo’s family and friends hard evidence to hold onto in the search for justice. It's a small comfort perhaps, considering the immense pain and loss, but it's something concrete in an otherwise unimaginable situation. I hope Angelo’s family finds some semblance of peace as they continue to deal with this tragedy.
