I’ve been reading more about the July 4, 2020, shooting in Englewood, and I can’t stop thinking about the families, especially of Andre Parnell Osborne and the other victims. Losing a loved one so suddenly leaves such deep scars. I hope that by coming together, the community can find healing and strength amid such a senseless act of violence. It’s disturbing that the shooters have yet to be brought to justice, even with the FBI reward on the table. How have the local authorities and community leaders responded since then? Are there any new safety initiatives in Englewood? I’d love to know more about what’s being done to prevent such tragedies. My thoughts are with the families as they continue to seek justice and peace.
I can’t stop thinking about the families who lost loved ones that day. Andre Parnell Osborne's story, along with the others, just weighs so heavily on my heart. It really hits home how senseless and devastating this loss is. Four people, all with loved ones and lives ahead of them, taken so abruptly.
I noticed from the reports that one suspect was seen with a yellow hoodie, but it's so frustrating how they’re still out there two years later with no arrests made. I truly hope the community keeps pushing for answers and justice for Andre and the others. The reward from the FBI is substantial, so maybe someone will come forward with information. It's terrifying that no one's been caught yet, especially when knowing the level of violence out there on our streets.
Grief and fear must be overwhelming for those families, having to move forward without their loved ones. My thoughts are with Andre’s family, and I hope they find some peace and closure someday, even though nothing could ever make up for their loss.
