But what stood out most was his leadership—how he always encouraged his teammates and brought out the best in them, not just in skill but in character. The void he leaves behind is palpable, not only within his family but among his friends and the community that watched him grow. The outpouring of love at the vigil showed the lasting impact he had on everyone around him. It’s a somber reminder of the senselessness of his death, and how much potential was lost. My thoughts are with his family, especially his parents Daytrina and Elvin, during this incredibly difficult time. It’s frustrating and upsetting that these tragedies continue to occur, and it renews the call to action for real change to prevent further loss. Let's hope for answers and justice soon.
