It's puzzling how little information we have about Juan Gutierrez-Hernandez's case after all this time. I've noticed that cases like his, where the missing person is from another country, often seem to get less attention. It makes me wonder if there's a lack of communication across borders that hinders these investigations. Plus, with those unique identifiers like the scar and the mole, you'd think someone might have recognized him or come forward. McAllen isn't a giant city, so I'm curious why it feels like we're at a standstill. Is anyone else familiar with how cross-border investigations are handled in Texas? Could there be more that can be done to involve Guatemalan authorities, or is this sort of delay common?
