Hi everyone,
I've been diving into some data and trends recently, and I came across Andre Wallace’s case. It’s really making me think about the bigger picture here. Back in 2008, Baltimore was often referred to as having a "crime epidemic." For context, there was this huge surge in violence, and many cases just fell through the cracks.
What's frustrating is how these cases, like Andre's, didn't get the attention they deserved. It seems like back then, the media was overwhelmed and focused on only a few key stories, which left many families without the visibility they needed to get answers.
For loved ones of victims like Andre, I can’t imagine how hard it must be to try to get closure when there’s so little information shared with the public. This lack of awareness definitely didn’t help in rallying community support or pushing for more resources to solve these cases.
Just wanted to share this insight and hopefully, we can discuss what more could have been done, or ideas on how communities like this one can help raise awareness and keep the pressure on for cases like Andre Wallace’s.
Sending strength to his family and others affected.
Take care,

I've been following Andre Wallace's case, and it's another reminder of how many young lives were lost in Baltimore during 2008—a year that seemed to bring so much senseless tragedy to the city. Andre was just 27, with his whole life ahead of him. It’s really disheartening that we don't know more about what happened to him, and it feels like his story, along with so many others, just faded into the background. We can't forget that every statistic is a person, a family in pain, and a community left to pick up the pieces.
It’s frustrating to think about how many cases went unsolved back then. I know Baltimore was struggling with an overwhelming wave of violent crime; it feels like the system was just drowning under the pressure. I hope that, with advancements in forensic technology and renewed efforts in cold cases, we might eventually see justice for Andre and others like him. We owe it to them to keep their memories alive and hope for a day when no family has to experience this same loss.
Sending my thoughts to Andre’s family and everyone working to resolve these difficult cases. ❤️
