I was just reading about the Redington Pass case and the discovery of the red Ford Focus. What caught my attention was the location where the car was found. Does anyone here know if that part of Redington Pass is known for accidents or difficult terrain? It's odd to me that they would go hiking during monsoon season when the weather can be unpredictable, especially considering Belen's health conditions. I feel terrible for Robert and can't imagine what he's going through, not knowing where his brother is. I wonder if there's any local search and rescue effort or plans from the community to help find Ernest. Has anyone heard of similar cases in the area that could shed some light on this? I hope they find answers soon.
