I just came across the case of Alton D. Ellis and can't stop thinking about his little boy. It breaks my heart that this toddler had to witness such a tragic event at such a young age. Thank goodness he wasn't physically harmed, but I can't imagine the emotional impact this will have on him as he grows up. It’s perplexing how senseless violence like this continues to happen, and even more so when you think about the randomness of it all. Why was Alton targeted? Was it truly random, or is there more to the story that still needs to come out? I really hope the detectives can piece things together and bring some sense of closure. Sending love to the family and especially that little boy. No one should have to experience such a devastating loss like this. It's yet another reminder of how precious and fragile life can be. Keeping the Ellis family in my thoughts.
