I'm still trying to wrap my head around the loss of Carlos Cruz—such a promising young life taken so abruptly. I read that his family often talks about his love for animals, especially his dog that was with him during the terrible incident. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma for the poor pup and how it's coping without Carlos. It truly shines a light on how violence reaches beyond just the immediate victim. My heart goes out to the family, who not only have lost a son but are left picking up these unimaginable pieces. I'm also hoping there's some form of community support or resources for the pet, who sadly witnessed something so unimaginable. Does anyone know if there is such help provided?
