I've been thinking a lot about the significant role Greg and Brenda played in their community. It's one thing to read about their careers, but when you hear locals talk about them, you realize how much kindness and generosity they brought to Sheridan. Greg, with his drywall company, didn't just do business—he seemed to genuinely care about his clients, often going the extra mile to help those in need. And Brenda's warmth at BP/Walmart made everyday errands a bit brighter for so many people. Their loss is more than just a tragic headline. It's a deep wound for a community that loved and relied on their presence. It's so hard to come to terms with something like this happening to such well-loved people. How do we even begin to heal and provide the comfort needed for their family? My heart goes out to everyone who knew them or called them friends.

Has anyone else been wondering about the timeline on the night of March 16, 2021? I'm trying to piece together how everything unfolded leading up to the terrible events at the Barnes' residence. From what I've gathered, it seems like Fredres first went to his ex-wife's house and caused some sort of chaos there, but I've read conflicting reports on when exactly things went down at Greg and Brenda's home. It's just so hard to fathom how quickly a situation can escalate to something so tragic. My heart goes out to their family and friends trying to make sense of all of this. I can't imagine the pain they're going through, especially knowing that Greg and Brenda were such beloved members of the community. Does anyone have more concrete info about the order of events that night? I hope we can shine more light on this to honor their memory and support efforts to prevent such tragedies in the future.

Has anyone else been struck by how close the Sheridan community seems to be after the Barnes tragedy? I’m truly touched by how the townspeople have come together to support each other during such a difficult time. Greg and Brenda were clearly loved by so many, and it’s reflected in the outpouring of love and solidarity we've seen. It’s moments like this that show the strength in community bonds and how a small town can rally together to honor the memory of beloved members. My heart goes out to their family and friends, and I hope they find some comfort in knowing they’re not alone in their grief. Community healing is so important after events like this. What has everyone else heard about how the town is doing now, a couple of years later?
