Has anyone looked into the weather conditions around the time Kris Fowler went missing? I've been following this case, and it's amazing how quickly things can change in the mountains, especially on the PCT. There was a pretty bad storm on October 12, 2016 – snow and rain, notoriously unpredictable in that region. I can't help but wonder if the sudden weather shift caught him off guard, despite his experience. A lot of hikers have mentioned that it can be super tricky navigating the trail in those conditions. Could this have played a bigger role in his disappearance than we realize? It's such rugged terrain, and a wrong turn with that kind of weather could mean disaster. Would love to hear any thoughts or insights about similar cases or how others have dealt with bad weather on the trail.

I’ve been following Kris Fowler's case closely and something I've been pondering is the role the weather might have played. The conditions in October 2016 were reportedly pretty severe, with heavy snow and rain. It's possible that Kris, while an experienced hiker, found himself in terrain that suddenly became treacherous. Has anyone looked into how weather conditions on the PCT have impacted other hikers around that time? It's just heartbreaking to think that nature, which Kris loved, might have become his biggest challenge. I know many people have combed that area, but I wonder if the elements made it particularly difficult to find any trace of him. Thoughts?
