I can't stop thinking about the surveillance footage that allegedly shows Edward Roscoe running from the SUV after the shots were fired. It sends a chill down my spine just imagining it. I can't help but wonder about his mental state and what was going through his mind at that moment. Was this premeditated? If I were one of the officers who saw that footage, I think it would be incredibly frustrating to see someone leave the scene like that, especially when we’re talking about the death of someone they supposedly cared about. Seeing his prior history, it's so tragic and infuriating to think that this might have been prevented if stricter measures were taken sooner. My heart sincerely goes out to Jessica’s family and friends who have had to endure such a horrific loss and a painful legal process. It’s devastating how domestic violence cases can escalate to such lethal extremes, and we desperately need to see change and support systems that can intervene in situations like these.
