There's no denying how important digital footprints are for investigations nowadays, but it's unsettling that they also play a role in escalating these violent rivalries. My heart goes out to Ogonnia’s loved ones, it's enough to grieve for a lost life without facing such blatant disrespect online. I hope the authorities continue to crack down on how gangs use social media, both to prevent future incidents and to bring justice for victims like Ogonnia. Stay strong, Chicago.
