I’ve been thinking a lot about the dog that was in the car with Dearl during the shooting. It’s just unimaginable what that poor animal must have experienced. While I’ve been following the case, I couldn’t stop wondering how the dog is doing now. Is anyone aware if the family has shared any updates about its recovery? Animals can be such a source of comfort, and I hope the family is able to find some solace in caring for Dearl’s dog during this incredibly difficult time. It’s a small part of the big picture, but sometimes those small bits of hope can make a huge difference. Sending strength to Dearl’s loved ones as they seek justice and peace.
