I've been thinking about Kevin Stephens' case, and something that's been on my mind is the role of surveillance footage in these situations. It's a shame that, despite how much technology has evolved, it doesn't always lead to quick resolutions like one might hope. I know there are cameras throughout neighborhoods like Englewood, and I'm curious if there was any footage from that day that might provide some clues. Being able to see the car or the shooter could help identify who was involved. It frustrates me that, even when recordings are available, they aren't always enough to make a significant breakthrough. My heart goes out to Kevin’s family and friends, who must be feeling like they're in limbo. I just hope the detectives are doing everything possible to uncover any potential evidence from those cameras, so the community can move forward and justice for Kevin can be within reach.
