Has anyone else been following the case of Patrick Glasper? I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact on his family and friends. I can’t imagine the pain they’re going through, knowing Patrick was just standing there when his life was taken. It’s incomprehensible how quickly things can turn tragic. My heart goes out to them. I've read about the challenging circumstances the Chicago PD are facing with this wave of violence, but I wonder what more can be done to prevent these senseless acts. The lack of arrests so far must be incredibly frustrating for the family. Are there any community efforts or advocacy groups currently working to address this? I’m sure they could use all the support they can get. If anyone has info or ideas about how to help push for justice, please share.
