I came across Thomas Harold Jeschke's case recently, and I've been digging through old newspapers and articles to see if there's anything that might have been missed over the years. One thing that struck me as odd was the location where his car was found. Northeast 8th and Burnside is such a busy area. You'd think someone might have seen something that night or would remember the car being there. Were there any businesses in the area that might have had employees or patrons around the time of his disappearance? It seems like such a key piece of the puzzle that could hold some untapped clues. Does anyone know if there were any public leads or witness statements initially? It's frustrating to think that it might just take one small piece of the story to bring this cold case to light.
Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into cold cases lately and I stumbled across the disappearance of Thomas Harold Jeschke from back in ‘69. What really intrigues me is the location his car was found. NE 8th and Burnside is an area that’s changed so much over the years. Does anyone here know what it was like back in the late 60s? I'm curious if it might hold any significance that isn't immediately obvious today. Maybe there were local hangouts or businesses in that area at the time? It seems strange that the car was just abandoned there, with nothing else to go on. Maybe someone’s got memories or knowledge passed down about that spot which could help us piece things together a bit better? Would love to hear your thoughts!
