Hey everyone, I've been diving into Alan Bourque's disappearance from 1970, and I can't stop thinking about that last confirmed sighting during Mardi Gras. Imagine vanishing in the middle of one of the biggest parties in the country! Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras is chaotic, to say the least. I wonder if anyone he might have met during those celebrations had any insights or clues. Did he mix in with the crowd intentionally, or did something else happen? It's puzzling how someone can just vanish, even in such a busy setting. If anyone has theories about what could’ve gone down during those festivities, I'd love to hear them. How common is it for people to go missing during such events?
It's intriguing and a bit puzzling to dive into cases like Alan Bourque's where so little information has come forth. What catches my attention is the sighting in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. With its bustling crowds and people from all over the country and even the world, it's such a transient event that there might have been many witnesses who didn't even realize they saw someone significant. Has anyone looked into outreach within the areas around Bourbon Street back in 1970? Maybe folks working at bars or hotels at that time could have run across him or overheard something relevant. It's also interesting to consider how someone in a military uniform might have stood out or blended in during such a vibrant celebration. Thoughts?
