Hi everyone. I've been following Adrian Kendrell Murphy's case, and my heart goes out to his friends and family. It’s so devastating that another life was cut short by gun violence. I can't stop thinking about the neighborhood where it happened—the 900 block of South Greenlawn Avenue. I wonder how the residents are coping with the aftermath of such a traumatic event literally right on their doorstep. Imagine your home, a place you're supposed to feel safe, being the location of a crime like this. It must be terrifying. Does anyone know if there have been any community meetings or vigils held in Peoria to support both the family and the residents in the area? I think communal support and solidarity can be invaluable in such hard times. Maybe there’s something the community can do together to urge more visibility on these unsolved cases? My thoughts are with everyone involved.
