It's been almost two years since Daniel Lobo's tragic passing, and it still feels surreal that such an incredible young life was cut short due to a senseless road rage incident. My heart goes out to his family, especially to his parents who are enduring immeasurable pain. I can’t stop thinking about how Daniel was on the cusp of achieving his dreams, with just months to go before graduating. I imagine he had so much excitement about his future in medicine, and it’s a profound loss not just for his loved ones, but for the whole community that could have benefitted from his talents and compassion. What's puzzling is how the investigation seems to have stalled. It must be agonizing for Daniel’s family and friends to still not have answers or justice. How are there no leads after all this time? Here’s hoping someone with information finds the courage to come forward soon. Daniel and his loved ones deserve that closure.
