I've been digging into Leslee Larson's case, and a small detail really stood out to me: the conditions of the creek on the day she disappeared. I've read that Little Prickly Pear Creek was swollen due to the spring runoff, which makes Dennis's claim that he couldn't rescue her somewhat plausible, given the forceful currents. Yet, there are so many red flags! What gets me is the dry clothes. How do you fail a rescue attempt by not even getting wet? Plus, Montana locals, has anyone heard if the area where this happened was ever thoroughly searched after Dennis's confession? Or were they hindered by the terrain? It's devastating to think her body might still be there, undiscovered after all these years. Wouldn’t it be something if further efforts were made to comb that area with modern technology? Could possibly bring closure to what sounds like a horrendous injustice. Let me know your thoughts or if you have any more info!
