Has anyone else noticed how there seems to be little information about Eva Valles' social circle? I get that she was labeled as a habitual runaway, but who were her friends, or anyone she might have trusted back then? I'm curious if they might have insights that were missed at the time. It seems like a lot of focus was on trying to track her last movements, but maybe someone in her life knew more, possibly even a place she was planning on going. If anyone has old high school connections or can remember something about the people she hung out with, it might shed new light on her case. Just thinking that sometimes the key could be in the relationships she had, not just her lost trail in the city.
Hey everyone, I was reading about Eva Valles and noticed something that feels puzzling to me. Her hair color change from black to red/auburn stands out, especially since it happened just a year before she vanished. Could it have been an attempt to blend in or maybe a reflection of something she was going through at the time? It's not uncommon for people to change their appearance when they're looking to start fresh or avoid being recognized. Given Eva's history as a habitual runaway, it makes me wonder if she was attempting to disguise herself for some reason or if it might be connected to someone she was with. Has anyone come across other cases where hair color changes played a significant role? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Did anyone else read the accounts from locals about strange activities around Oglesby Street around the time Eva went missing? It seems like there were reports of people hearing odd noises and seeing unusual traffic in the area during the late hours. I wonder if any of these could be connected to Eva's disappearance. Also, the fact that she had changed her hair color frequently makes me think she might have been trying to change her appearance for some reason. If she was trying to hide, was it from someone she knew or for another reason entirely? It's been almost 50 years, but new perspectives might shed light on what really happened. Thoughts?
