I’ve been following Antoine French’s case since the beginning, and while it’s incredibly painful for his family and friends, I’m struck by the strength and determination they’ve shown. The lack of progress must be so frustrating, but I admire how the community has come together to support his memory and push for answers. One thing I keep thinking about is the neighborhood itself. I’ve heard people talk about the potential for witnesses who might feel too scared to speak out. It’s understandable, especially with safety concerns in places like Austin. I can’t help but wonder if there’s more that can be done to make residents feel safe and supported in coming forward with information. Sending love and strength to Antoine’s loved ones. I truly hope answers and justice come soon. If anyone local has thoughts on how community safety can be improved to help cases like these, I’d love to hear them.
