Has anyone been following the case of Roger Lewis Sr.? I'm deeply troubled by the lack of progress in finding the person responsible for his murder. I keep thinking about how often these types of cases get stalled due to lack of witnesses or reliable leads. It's frustrating and so unfair to Roger’s family who are left in limbo, waiting for answers they deserve.
I came across a thread discussing the possibility of an increase in patrols or community programs to engage residents in providing tips. I’m wondering if the locals have noticed any changes or initiatives being implemented by law enforcement that might not have been reported in the media?
From his family’s public appeals, it’s clear they’re trying everything to get the word out. I really admire their strength and hope that somehow, someone who knows something comes forward. Anyone who might have been in the Grand Crossing area around that time, I hope they find a way to share what they know. It could make all the difference. It’s times like these we need to rally behind the family and support them in their pursuit of justice.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Roger Lewis Sr. case, and something that’s been on my mind is the impact this tragedy has had on his neighborhood in Grand Crossing. It's so tough seeing a community grappling with this kind of violence. I can only imagine how tense things have been and how deeply this loss is felt among those who knew him or lived nearby.
I read somewhere that there was a community vigil held for him, which speaks volumes about the support network trying to rally together. These gatherings can be such a powerful way for people to express their grief and solidarity. It also makes me wonder about the ripple effects this has had on local efforts to curb gun violence and how these events bring people closer together to demand change.
What worries me is how the lack of new information might impact the community’s trust in the process. It seems like people are really hoping for justice and change, but with no arrests yet, how does the community keep that momentum for change alive? Anyone from the area have thoughts on how these community efforts have evolved since the incident?
Sending love to Roger’s family and everyone affected by this awful event. Keep the faith and hold each other close.
Stay safe out there,

I've been following the case of Roger Lewis Sr., and I can't stop thinking about the troubling aspect of gun violence in Chicago, especially in neighborhoods like Grand Crossing. It's disheartening to see a seemingly endless cycle of violence claiming the lives of so many, including promising individuals like Roger. I've read that he was a dedicated father and an active member of his community. It makes me wonder what more can be done to address both the immediate need for justice and the long-term battle against gun violence.
It also speaks volumes when a community gets involved, and I'm hopeful that more residents will feel empowered to share what they know. I've seen communities come together in powerful ways before, and maybe this case could be a catalyst for change. My thoughts are with Roger's family during this incredibly tough time, and I sincerely hope they find the answers they're searching for soon.
