I've been thinking a lot about Keenan Stanfield and the tragic circumstances of his death. It's incredibly painful to see yet another young life lost to the gun violence plaguing Baltimore. I can only imagine the devastation his family and friends must be feeling. What's even more troubling is how these incidents seem to become mere statistics over time, blending into the larger narrative of crime in the city. I wonder how the community is coping with this ongoing threat and if any positive steps have been taken since then to address the underlying issues like poverty and lack of resources. It seems like there needs to be a more concerted effort towards preventative measures instead of just reactive ones, not just for Keenan, but for everyone affected by this cycle of violence. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew and cared for him. Does anyone here have insights into whether there have been any promising initiatives or changes in the area since 2009?
