Did anyone else read about the memorial service held for Maurice McFadden? It was such a moving tribute to a young soul taken too soon. Maurice’s friends and family gathered at the site on Division Street to place flowers and share memories of him. It was an emotional gathering with many expressing how Maurice had big dreams and was always there for those he cared about. It's truly painful to see another young life ended in such violence. I wish more people would come together to stand up against this cycle and speak out. Maurice’s story isn't just his own; it's the story of too many in Baltimore. If only more voices could rise against these injustices, maybe families like Maurice's wouldn't have to bear such a loss. Has anyone heard any updates from the police on new leads? Let's hope for some justice for Maurice and his family.
