Hey everyone, I was reading through some of the reports about Roosevelt D. Harris's tragic murder, and I can't help but discuss the Roseland neighborhood itself. It's really disheartening to see another young life lost in a community that's been crying out for change. Many of us who live or have lived in similar areas know the feeling of being overlooked when it comes to resources and support. Roosevelt deserved better, and so do all the residents who face daily fears about safety. I really believe that community engagement is crucial here. There might be people who know something but feel scared or unsure about coming forward. Building trust between law enforcement and residents might encourage more people to speak up. Also, investing in youth programs or job opportunities could make a real difference in preventing these senseless acts of violence. We need to keep having these conversations and push for real change. Every bit helps in honoring the memory of those like Roosevelt Harris who should be here with us today. What are your thoughts on what could be done better in areas like Roseland?
