Has anyone else been following Marquise Pryor’s story? I can’t stop thinking about the kind of impact he made in his community. Opening a store and a salon on 87th Street shows how dedicated he was to uplifting the neighborhood. It’s incredibly sad to see someone who was genuinely trying to make a difference be taken away like this.
I remember reading about his struggles with the law earlier in his life, but it seems like he was truly on a different path. It makes you wonder about the senseless nature of violence and how it affects not just those directly involved, but an entire community that loses a beacon of hope.
My thoughts are with his family and friends, especially those who knew him as a “gentle giant.” The fact that the investigation hasn’t yielded any clear answers must be incredibly frustrating for them. How do we even begin to address something so deeply rooted like gun violence? I hope justice for Marquise comes soon.
