Has anyone else dug into the reports regarding Joseph Edward Doerfler's motorcycle being found near Blythe, CA? It was reportedly on the roadside not too long after he disappeared. The distance between Luke AFB in Arizona and Blythe is significant, which makes me wonder why his bike ended up there. It's almost as if he was on his way somewhere, but what could have prompted him to make the trip, and why abandon the motorcycle? I've been trying to map out possible routes he could have taken and whether there were any known issues or incidents on that stretch of highway back then. If anyone has information on road conditions or common stopping points between Luke AFB and Blythe around that time, it might give us some clues about his intended destination or what might have happened. ?✍️
