I’ve been following Kimberly Campbell’s case and my heart goes out to her family, especially her mom, Trashonda. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child so suddenly. What’s really been on my mind is the other kid involved. The media is quiet about him, but it sounds like this event might haunt him for a long time. Being so young and experiencing this kind of trauma alongside losing a friend must be incredibly difficult. I hope he’s getting the support and help he needs. It’s just so sad that kids should have to worry about this kind of violence. I pray for justice for Kimberly and support for everyone affected.
