Does anyone remember the community meeting that was held a few weeks after Carron Spruiel's murder? I was there and I vividly recall how the room was overflowing with a mix of emotions—anger, fear, and a profound sense of loss. Residents were demanding changes and asking for more police presence in the neighborhood. I think what stood out the most was the number of people expressing that they felt voiceless and overlooked. There was also a lot of talk about how many were unsure of how to step forward with information, almost as if they were trapped between wanting justice and fearing retribution. It's tough to think that nearly 14 years later, those sentiments still echo for so many families. If anyone else attended or remembers updates from that meeting, it would be helpful to hear your thoughts. We can't let Carron's memory fade without pushing for the answers that his family deserves.
