Did anyone else hear about the letter Officer Mathis's daughter read at his memorial service? I've been thinking about it a lot lately. It seems like she was really young at the time, but the courage she showed is just remarkable. I can't imagine trying to put feelings into words at such a devastating time. From what I've read, it helped shine a light on the amazing person he was, not just as an officer, but as a father and husband. Does anyone have more details or thoughts about other tributes that were part of the service? I think it's important to keep sharing these stories to honor his memory and the impact he had on those around him.
