I've been following the tragic case of Juan Carlos Resendez and his family, and something that's been on my mind is the apparent lack of forced entry at the crime scene. It's chilling to think that the perpetrators might have been people the family knew and possibly trusted. It adds another layer of betrayal to an already unspeakable act. This aspect is troubling because it suggests an even deeper level of premeditation. The killers knew exactly when and how to strike, probably making sure they wouldn't arouse suspicion from the victims or neighbors. It must be devastating for family and friends to live in a community where the killers are possibly known but remain unidentified. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved this family. I hope the authorities can piece together more clues soon, and that someone with information will have the courage to come forward. This little boy and his family deserve justice, and the community deserves peace.
