Has anyone else been following the Kara Miller case in Paulding County? I've been thinking a lot about the welfare check that led to the discovery of the family. It's got to be so incredibly tough for the family members who requested it. To think you’re just making sure everything’s okay and then getting such devastating news. I can’t even imagine the weight on their shoulders now, knowing that their call led to uncovering such a tragedy. It’s so sad to hear how much the community respected and loved Kara and her little boy. Keeping all of them in my thoughts as they try to heal from this heartache.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how tight-knit communities handle tragedies like what happened with Kara, Brian, and little Paxton Miller. Can you imagine the shockwave this must’ve sent through Temple and the surrounding areas? Knowing Kara was someone who worked with many people in her role as a freelance artist, I bet she touched a lot of lives. I wonder how the community supported each other during such an intense time. It’s such a poignant reminder of the importance of reaching out and supporting the people around us, especially in moments where words seem to fail. Anyone here from that area who can share how the community rallied around the family, or ways in which they cope with such events? Just trying to understand how people come together in the face of senseless loss.
