Does anyone else feel completely puzzled by the escape of Jeronta’s sister with the baby? It seems incredible that amidst such a terrifying ordeal, the teenager had the wits and bravery to flee and keep the baby safe. It's a small piece of good that she and the baby got to safety, but I can't help but wonder what the situation must have been like that allowed her to escape. The courage it must have taken to protect the baby and themselves from those attackers is both astounding and heartbreaking. I hope this young girl and the children grow up surrounded by love and support after all they've been through. Thoughts? My heart is heavy thinking about Briana, her fiancé, and the life they were building—it was all taken away in such a cruel manner. I'm not sure how you ever find peace after something like this.

It's hard to wrap my head around what happened to Briana and Jeronta. I've been thinking a lot about the immense bravery it must have taken for the teenager to escape with the baby. In such a chaotic and terrifying moment, prioritizing the safety of the baby and managing to get away must have been incredibly difficult. I'm also wondering what kind of impact this horrible event had on Jeronta's younger sister. She's so young and was forced into a situation no one should ever have to experience. I can't imagine the trauma that comes from witnessing something so horrible. My heart goes out to her and the rest of their families. They’ll need a lot of support to cope with this tragedy.
