Has anyone else been looking into the disappearance of the crew from the Cape Chacon? I can't stop thinking about the last communications they had with the Coast Guard before it all went silent. They were experienced fishermen, and it seems odd that they didn't send out more distress signals before the ship went down. From what I’ve gathered, the weather was indeed severe, but there’s just something unsettling about how abruptly they vanished without more SOS calls. Do any experienced seafarers here have insights into why there might have been limited communication? Could the conditions have been so extreme that it was impossible to send more?
