I’ve been following the case of Beverly Gail Sabo, and something that’s been on my mind is the discovery of her car at LAX. It’s so strange to me that there wasn’t any camera footage or witnesses who saw anything suspicious back in 1989. I know security and surveillance weren’t what they are today, but it’s hard to imagine a car sitting there for six weeks and nobody investigating sooner. Was parking not as strict back then, or could the car have been moved closer to the time it was found? The location makes me wonder if someone wanted it to look like she left on a flight, but without any credit card activity or ticket purchases. Thoughts?
Has anyone else found it odd that Beverly's car was left at LAX? I know people have speculated on different scenarios, but why would she go to a major airport with no sign of a planned trip or anything? I've read that unclaimed cars at airports can sometimes be associated with foul play, like someone trying to throw off an investigation. Plus, if she was supposedly going shopping, why not leave the car somewhere closer to home? Seems like a strange and risky move for someone thinking of disappearing. There’s also the detail about her being gold wedding bands — something feels deliberate about leaving the vehicle in such a public, high-traffic area. Anyone have thoughts on why LAX stands out in this case?
