I've been following the case of Dantavious Chatman and every detail just brings a new wave of sorrow. I can’t imagine the fear and pain little Dakayla must have felt seeing her father in such a terrifying situation. It breaks my heart knowing she had to witness that at such a young age. I hope she's surrounded by love and getting all the support she needs to move forward. It’s maddening to think about the violence that plagues our communities. Dantavious was just trying to get his daughter back home safely. The fact that Deon Clinton Davis was already facing serious charges before he was identified in this case makes me question how many other potential threats are on our streets. We need justice for Dantavious and a safer world for kids like Dakayla. Sending all my strength to his family as they navigate through this tragedy. Anyone else have thoughts on what can be done to prevent such heartbreaking incidents?
