For those following the Frank Schnuering case, I stumbled upon something really odd regarding the timing of his disappearance. It happened on May 15, 1989, which, intriguingly, was just a couple of days after a major thunderstorm in Brooklyn. From what I understand, storms like that can lead to power outages and other disruptions. I wonder, given Frank’s Alzheimer's, if the stress of this sudden chaos might have contributed to him leaving home. It's so unfortunate we don’t have more info about the weather's impact on him or others in the neighborhood at the time. If anyone has old weather reports or memories from those days that could shed some light, it might be worth exploring. What do you all think?
I recently stumbled upon Frank Schnuering's case, and one thing that caught my attention was the amount of cash he had on him when he disappeared. $1,400 is quite a sum, especially back in 1989. I've been wondering if this detail could hold any significance in understanding what might have happened to him. Considering his Alzheimer’s, it might’ve slipped his mind that he had it, or perhaps he intended to use it for something specific? Did Frank often carry such a large amount of cash, or was this out of the ordinary for him?
Also, is there any information available about the areas he was known to frequent, or any routine he might have had? It's hard not to think about whether someone might have noticed him carrying that money and taken advantage of his vulnerable state. I hope this puzzle can be solved someday, no one should just vanish without leaving some trace behind.
