I've been thinking a lot about Beverly Broach and what she went through on that tragic night. It's just beyond comprehension how any mother can witness such a horrific event involving her own child. Surviving multiple gunshot wounds while also managing to defend herself speaks volumes about her strength and will to survive. I can't imagine the physical and emotional scars she must carry. It’s such a relief that she survived and that she had the incredible courage to stand against Dewayne and expose his atrocities in court. My heart goes out to her and everyone who knew and loved Stephanie. I hope Beverly has found some measure of peace and support from the community during these incredibly difficult years. If anyone has updates on how Beverly is doing, it would be appreciated to know her story hasn’t been forgotten.
