I’ve been thinking a lot about the kids, Jacob and Jared Smith. It’s so incredibly sad to know their young lives were cut short in such a horrific way. I can’t imagine the grief their friends and school community must have gone through. These boys had their whole lives ahead of them, and it breaks my heart that they didn’t get to experience everything life has to offer. I hope their school and neighborhood found some way to remember and honor them, maybe in a memorial or a special event. Something so tragic has forever altered so many lives beyond just the immediate family. Hug your loved ones a little tighter today, folks.
I haven't been able to shake the sadness of this terrible incident that happened in Suwanee back in 2015. I can't stop thinking about Jerry Manning and the strength he must have had. To have survived such a horrendous event, only to later succumb to those awful injuries, is just so tragic. What really gets to me is imagining the sheer determination he showed to try and pull through for his family, despite everything. It breaks my heart to know he never truly made it back to any sense of normalcy after that ordeal. I can't fathom the pain the Manning family must have endured at losing so many loved ones at once, especially those innocent little boys. It really makes you reflect on how crucial it is to support victims of domestic violence and ensure they have the resources to escape such dangerous situations. My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family who were left to pick up the pieces.
