Has anyone else been following the Christopher Collins case here in Atlanta? I read that the argument between him and Aaron Edmundson was pretty heated before things turned tragic. It’s so upsetting to think about how quickly things can escalate. It seems like they were arguing about something that might have been resolved if cooler heads had prevailed. I can only imagine the pain Christopher's family is going through right now. I think it really highlights how important it is for communities to have better conflict resolution resources. Sometimes it feels like it's too easy for arguments to turn violent when people don’t have the tools to handle disagreements peacefully. Are there any other cases folks know about where community intervention could have possibly made a difference?
